CORE

Core forms the magnetic circuit of Transformer. Special steel of high resistance and low hysteresis loss is almost exclusively used in Transformer cores. The surface insulation, uniformly coated on both sides. The mean value of the insulation resistance of coating is at bast 10cm2 on each side.

We use CRGO BS 601/ ASTM Grade M4, The thickness of the sheet is 0.25 to 0.27 mm. The complete core is connected with the clamp to ensure that it is effectively earthed and clamped by heavy steel channel & tie rod.

WINDINGS

Winding form the electrical circuit of a Transformer. Any Transformer winding must fulfil certain basic requirements, particularly the dielectric, thermal & mechanical stresses imposed on it during testing & service. Transformer windings are made of highly purified ( 99% purity ) electrolytic copper with enameled round wire and paper insulated flat strip with high electric strength and good temperature stability. Wide oil ducts; obtained by corrugated and pressed corboard, allow a perfect oil circulation. Before assembling the low voltage & high voltage windings are submitted to drying impregnation process by a automatic temperature control Heat Chamber.

CORE CLAMP

Core clamp for camping the yokes and built of steel of adequate dimension. This clamp plate is mechanically strong enough to prevent bending and be able to withstand the lifting load of core & the windings.
