Container Terminal Operation including Container yard operation
Since March 2007 SAIF Powertec Limited has been started as the terminal Operator for CCT with following equipments and all related logistics & services under its full control and supervision. From May/2007 SAIF tookover 2 berth of Newmoring Container Terminal (NCT) .
mark 4 Nos. Quay Side Gantry Crane (QGC)
mark 11 Nos Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane (RTG)
mark 6 Nos. Straddle Carrier
mark 2 Nos. Forklift Truck and 2 nos. RST for Empty Container Handling
mark 44 nos. Prime Mover with Trailer.

Container handled by SAIF March-December/2007 : 4,55,000 TEUS.

Manpower employed by SAIF at CCT & NCT (Foreign + Local) : 450 both local & foreign
